Nada Alasmi is an accomplished program coordinator and educator with a decade of experience dedicated to guiding students toward academic and personal success. Holding a Doctorate in Diversity & Equity in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Nada is well-versed in providing equitable services to a diverse student population.
Previously, Nada served as an Educator and Program Coordinator in Miami Dade County Public Schools. She excelled in fostering relationships, promoting school retention, cultivating resources and collecting and managing data.
Internationally, she guided and supported over 1000 Chinese students in public schools in Shenzhen and Hunan, China. Nada’s adaptability and cultural sensitivity were crucial in meeting the diverse needs of an international student population.
In addition, at Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation in Dallas, Nada directed a student leadership program. There she connected with community partners, secured financial support, and mentor students. Her organizational skills were further highlighted as she managed various aspects of office operations.
Further, Nada served as a Facilitator at IGNITE National. She led a program encouraging diverse student engagement in political candidacy. Nada also procured a grant and provided valuable academic and career counseling to participants.
Her technology skills encompass a range of applications, including Microsoft Office, learning management systems, online databases, Qualtrics, WordPress, Canva, and other software tools.
